It was founded by Dr. Sarath Somasiri Gunawardhana, who is a reputed Ayurvedic doctor specialized in treatments for heart diseases and male/female infertility apart from the “Sarwanga roga” treatments. He has more than forty years of experience and claims to have cured thousands of people worldwide. He provides only the best quality medicine for his patients, which assure their speedy and healthy recovery. Majority of his medicines are freshly prepared using rare and expensive medicinal plants and herbs directly collected from the medicinal garden at Oyamaduwa and partly imported from India.

Gunawardhana Ayurvedic medical centre is located in Anuradhapura near to the sacred city of ancient Anuradhapura Kingdom. It is currently a clinic only accepting out patients. Dr Gunawardhana sees about 70 patients a day on appointment basis only. Patients can book an appointment by calling the contact number 0252223128 on the previous day. Foreign patients are encouraged to make an appointment through their agents or by directly emailing us. City of Anuradhapura is well connected by railway and high ways. The city is about four hours’ drive from the capital Colombo.
